Pilar Sanders was arrested last night

Late last night we brought you word that Deion Sanders took to Twitter to announce that he had been jumped by his wife Pilar and her friend and that he was pressing charges.

Well, it seems that Deion was true to his word and Pilar was arrested last night on assault family violence charges.

The charges are a misdemeanor and her bail was set at $264.00. At the moment, Pilar is still in custody because of an “other agency hold”.

Guess Deion wasn’t playing.

Mark Sanchez is slowly but surely becoming old news in New York. We’ve already wondered aloud which week Sanchez would lose the starting job to Tim Tebow and now Jets cheerleader wannabes are choosing Tebow over Sanchez.

We must be getting close to the NFL draft because all of sudden, a scout thinks Robert Griffin III has character issues. 2012 NFL schedule: Pinpointing exactly when Randy Moss will quit on the 49ers

When Randy Moss decided to sign with the San Francisco 49ers we instantly began to think about everything that could go right and everything that could go wrong. And though there is a lot that can go right in Moss’ time in San Francisco, we’re more interested in what could and will go wrong.

If we step back and take a good look at this, the 49ers couldn’t be a worse fit for Moss. They are led by a mediocre quarterback in Alex Smith and they like to run the ball a lot.

And what are the two things that Randy Moss hates the most? Yep, blocking and not getting the ball. Since he’s bound to be doing a lot of both of those things, we may as well pinpoint when he’ll be fed up with it all and decide to quit on the 49ers. Because you know it’s coming.

That sounds all well and good, but we all know that at some point, Sanchez is going to lose the starting job to Tim Tebow. Not because Tim Tebow is so good, but because at times Mark Sanchez is so bad.

So we went ahead and took the liberty of pinpointing exactly which week we expect Sanchez to lose the job. And now, it won’t come as a surprise to you when it happens.

You’re welcome.

Terrell Owens: Tony Romo ‘had a hand’ in me not being in Dallas anymore

We hadn’t heard much from Terrell Owens lately which is a good thing. Not only for us, but also for his sake. Owens is still holding out hoping that he can make a return to the NFL and no longer have to play football in fear of getting knocked over a wall. So just as teams gear up for OTA’s and are beginning to take a look at possible free agents to bring to camp, Owens jumped on KESN-FM 103.3 in Dallas and proceeded to do what Terrell Owens does. This in layman’s terms means he basically blames a former teammate for anything and everything that went wrong.

This particular edition revolves around Tony Romo and Owens’ belief that Romo “had a hand” in the Cowboys kicking Owens to the curb.
