And here’s Oklahoma coach Jay Norvell offering a recruit a full scholarship on Twitter

It’s not every day that we get to go behind the scenes on what goes on in the world of recruiting.  But luckily for us, Oklahoma assistant coach Jay Norvell gave us a glimpse of what really goes down in recruiting on his Twitter page.

It was there that Norvell fired off tweet after tweet to recruits offering scholarships, inviting recruits to Oklahoma’s “Jr. Day”, proclaiming that Oklahoma has the best offense in the nation, and even giving out his personal cell phone number.

Of course, the tweets have been removed, but as we all know, the internet never forgets.

Let’s Watch Oregon DB Cliff Harris’ Speeding Video

A lot was made of this situation when it first happened but it’s going to blown up even more. As you will see in the video, the state tropper clearly didn’t want to arrest Harris especially when he found out that QB Darron Thomas was in the car as well. We all know if it was you or me we would be headed to jail.

Meanwhile At The University Of Tennessee, Vols Players Are Rubbing Baby Oil On One Another

It’s that time of year again. The time of year when college coaches instruct their players to go shirtless for photos and video shoots.

And this year, Tennessee coach Derek Dooley has decided to up the ante and bring baby oil into the mix. And yes, Wes Rucker’s tweet actually says that the players are rubbing baby oil on one another. And yes, that’s all I have to say about this.

Yep, Auburn’s Marching Band Received National Championship Rings

Makes total sense, right?

I mean, if anyone is responsible for Auburn’s National Championship run, it’s definitely that dude that plays the cymbals. Or that girl that plays a mean flute.

Channing Crowder Hints That He Didn’t Sell His Jerseys In College

Yesterday we informed that Channing Crowder’s new radio show made its debut on WQAM in Miami. And if that wasn’t unbelievable enough, Crowder used this first show to “hint” that he sold his jerseys while he attended the University of Florida.

Here’s How Joe Paterno Prefers To Commit His NCAA Violations

[text-box]Passing by Holuba Hall, where several football players were conducting unsupervised workouts, Paterno stopped to watch for a few minutes without speaking to anyone, he said. Suitably impressed, he returned to his office where he reported to the coaching staff that at least one player had looked good and caught his eye.

“You know you broke a rule?” someone said, pointing out that coaches aren’t permitted to watch players working out before the start of practice in August.

Penn State spokesman Jeff Nelson said the university will report the incident to the NCAA.

ESPN’s Joe Schad Is Catching Heat For His Reporting On Auburn And Cam Newton

[text-box]If you hadn’t noticed, things are steadily progressing in the Cam Newton saga, but this time Newton isn’t the topic of discussion. Recently during on The Chuck and Chernoff Show on Atlanta’s 680 The Fan, the duo said that they have sources that say ESPN is closely monitoring reporter Joe Schad. Apparently, Schad has been reporting some things about Newton and his family that were untrue and now he has brought attention to himself and ESPN. I guess all those sources Schad always says he has don’t really exist.[/text-box]
