Report: Denver Broncos not happy with Paxton Lynch’s work ethic

Last May, the Denver Broncos drafted quarterback Paxton Lynch in the first round with the thought that he would be the face of the franchise. While he had an up and down rookie season, many were looking to see if Lynch would take that next step and over take Trevor Siemian this season. While it is still pretty early, the Broncos are not happy with what they see from Lynch. According to Bryan Broaddus of the Dallas Morning News, the Broncos are not happy with Lynch’s work ethic.

I talked to some guys in Denver; they’re having a problem with Paxton Lynch right now because they can’t get him to buy into the things like Dak Prescott bought in, where early in late out, that kind of thing.

This is a very interesting development if this report about Lynch’s work ethic is true. It’s never good to hear someone question any of your players work ethic, let alone your quarterback of the future. It will be interesting to see how Lynch looks and how he performs with mini camps approaching.
