Report: Matt Cassel to become Cowboys starting quarterback after bye week

1444688117-PATRIOTS_COWBOYS_FOOTBALL_46616935The 2015 NFL season started off with so much potential and promise for the Dallas Cowboys. But then quarterback Tony Romo and wide receiver Dez Bryant both went down with injuries which changed the NFC East division race. Some fans (not me) thought that Brandon Weeden could keep the Cowboys’ ship afloat until those two returned. But things have taken a turn for the worse especially after the New England Patriots beat them down in their own backyard. With the Cowboys on a bye week, many expect to see changes and it looks like it’s starting to happen. According to Ed Werder of ESPN, Matt Cassel will the Cowboys starting quarterback after the bye week.

To me, it really doesn’t matter who the Cowboys put out there at this point because the season is already lost.
