Demaryius Thomas on offensive struggles: “Unfortunately we’re getting used to it”

USATSI_8264472_168381064_lowresDT-e1425306635778-662x397The Denver Broncos defeated the Oakland Raiders yesterday and moved to 5-0 on the season. The Broncos defense played well like they have all season, but the offense continues to have problems. Quarterback Peyton Manning was sacked twice and threw two interceptions and the offense didn’t score a single touchdown. The frustration from the offensive players is starting to show beginning with wide receiver¬†Demaryius Thomas. The big play wide receiver was asked about the offense’s struggles and he said that they¬†are getting used to it.

“Unfortunately we’re getting used to it,” receiver Demaryius Thomas said of the offense’s failure to score a touchdown. “We’ve got a great group of guys. We know we have work to do. We have too much talent and too many guys working hard to play like this.”

The Broncos are lucky that their defense is playing at a high level right now because things could be a lot worse. It’s hard to go against Manning for too long, so I think they will get everything figured out eventually.
