Fred Jackson says Bills GM Doug Whaley wasn’t honest with him

640x0The Buffalo Bills surprised everyone when they decided to cutting running back Fred Jackson. Many thought that Jackson would be LeSean McCoy’s backup going into the regular season. But now there are reports that Bills general manager Doug Whaley went rogue and preferred Bryce Brown over Jackson. Now that Jackson is a free agent, he says that Whaley wasn’t honest with him.

“There’s only one person in that organization that I haven’t gotten honesty from, and that was [Whaley],” Jackson told the newspaper.

“It was a tough pill to swallow, especially because I felt like I can still contribute,” Jackson told the News.

Whaley says that everyone was on board with cutting Jackson but it doesn’t seem like this is the case. I think it’s best that Jackson puts this behind him and start to focus on landing with another team.
