Seems like no one wants to take a chance on Anthony Bennett

anthony-bennettThere is a lot of excitement in Minnesota these days as the Timberwolves have a lot of young talent full of potential. Many are high on the talent they have drafted over the past few years, but one player still hasn’t shown any signs that he might reach his potential. Forward Anthony Bennett has struggled since he entered the NBA and last season, he only averaged 5.2 points a game. While the Timberwolves have said that they are committed to watch this young guys grow, they are still weighing their options on Bennett. According to Jon Krawczynski of the Associated Press, the Timberwolves want to trade Bennett, but no one wants him.

Regardless of what is said about him, Bennett has a lot of talent but getting drafted first overall put expectations that he wasn’t ready for. Bennett has a team option for $7.3 million for 2016-17 season and the Timberwolves have until October to agree to it. Time is running out on Bennett, so he needs to prove that he belongs in the NBA.
