Report: Cavaliers and Warriors to face off on Christmas day

hi-res-38fe819ac1240e9b9baac0a5a0ec8fac_crop_northWhen Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James was with the Miami Heat, he complained about how they had to play a road game on Christmas day, but were the champions. The NBA took notice and started to reward the NBA champion from the previous year a home game on Christmas. With the official NBA schedule to be announced next week, the one game has already been set. According to Marc Stein of ESPN, the Golden State Warriors will host the Cavaliers on Christmas day.

LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers are tentatively scheduled to visit Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors on Christmas Day, according to league sources.

Sources told ESPN.com that the league plans to feature an NBA Finals rematch as a headliner of its annual Christmas Day slate but stressed that nothing is likely to be made official before next week, when the league ‎is expected to release the new schedule in full.

Obviously, the NBA Finals rematch will be the marquee game of the day as it should be. Hopefully both teams come into that game healthy, unlike what we saw in the Finals.
