Report: Doc Rivers is interested in bringing Kendrick Perkins to the Clippers

The Clippers have already acquired Lance Stephenson and signed Paul Pierce during the first day of free agency on Wednesday. While many expect center DeAndre Jordan to go elsewhere, the Clippers know that they have to address that position with multiple players. Head coach Doc Rivers is looking at one of his former players to help fill some of that void that Jordan could leave. According to Arash Markazi of ESPN, Rivers is interested in bringing in Kendrick Perkins to the Clippers.

Perkins was last seen riding the bench for the Cleveland Cavaliers during their playoff run which ended with a NBA Finals berth. I think the Clippers could do a lot better than Perkins, who brings absolutely nothing to a team that has championship aspirations.
