Danny Trevathan lied about having someone else’s kneecap, says it was a joke

20140819_045321_trevathan2Denver Broncos linebacker caused quite a stir a month ago when he said that he had his kneecap replaced with someone else’s. Treavathan even said that he the replacement kneecap was bigger than his and that if felt funny. After saying all of that, we are now finding out that it all was just a big lie. Trevathan was on with Nate Kreckman on 105.5 ESPN in Denver and says he doesn’t have someone else’s kneecap. He says that he still has his kneecap and that it was a joke.

“It was a joke. Technically, it’s not really nobody’s knee. It’s reconstructed. That was a joke I was just putting out there,” Trevathan said.

“It kind of feels like a new knee but at the same time it’s still my knee.”

“Everything is originally mine,” he continued. “They took some muscle out of my leg and moved it to my knee. You know how that goes but other than that it’s my knee and I just wanted to go out there and say I didn’t know people were going to take it like that. It’s my knee. It’s just reconstructed.”

Well I hope Treavathan got the attention he wanted when he decided to tell everyone that lie. It’s going to be real hard to believe anything that comes out of his mouth now.
