Did the New York Jets one up the Cleveland Browns for Bryce Petty?

Bryce-Petty1During the NFL Draft, many teams put themselves in great position for the players that they wanted. Others bluffed that they would move up or down to send out mix signals. One example of this is when it came to picking Baylor QB Bryce Petty. The New York Jets picked Petty in the fourth round after trading up one spot with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Many were curious to find out why the Jets would move up one spot instead of just waiting. Well according to Ian Rapport of NFL Network, the Jags had an offer from the Cleveland Browns for that same pick.

Petty is a very good QB, but the Jets acting so paranoid is pretty ridiculous in my opinion.
