As for the aftermath: It’s ugly.
NASCAR decided on Sunday that the show must go on and sent out the rather tone deaf tweet you see below. Which they later deleted.
Then in the midst of their mourning, an angry Wendi Ward (Ward’s aunt), took to Facebook to vent about her nephew’s death. That venting led to Ward calling Stewart a d*ck.
I think it’s pretty obvious that NASCAR has a huge problem on its hands.
