larry_prphoto1Kansas City Chiefs OL Ricky Henry has been turning heads during training camp. The three year guard spent last season on the disabled list, but now healthy and starting to get some attention.

One of the people Henry has gotten to pay attention to him is head coach Andy Reid. While talking to the media, Reid had nothing but praise for Henry and then compared him to comedian Larry the Cable Guy.

“He’s a tough kid — I’m not telling you it’s all pretty,” Reid said of the ex-Husker. “He looks like Larry the Cable Guy, and he plays like Larry the Cable Guy. He’s kind of a dirtbag-type guy. He gets in there, he’s rough and tough and scrappy and all of that. That’s how he’s playing right now.”

But when asked if Henry was as funny as the comedian, Reid says Henry doesn’t talk at all.

“I don’t think he’s as funny,” Reid said. “I haven’t heard him say a word. He just does his job.”

Well I can’t tell if they look alike but if he plays like Reid says he does, it doesn’t matter.
