ESPN employee's tweet about Jimbo Fisher has FSU fans up in arms

jimbo-fisherThe past few days have not been good to ESPN. First it was the Stephen A Smith debacle and now this.

Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher was doing the ESPN car wash yesterday as part of the network getting ready for college football. Appartly everyone in Bristol was not happy to Fisher yesterday. ESPN employee Natasha Rose sent out this tweet after crossing paths with Fisher.

Rose deleted the tweet but it was too late as FSU fans started looking for blood. According to Bud Elliot of Tomahawk Nation, the response was so great that ESPN had to release a statement regarding the tweet.

From Mike Humes, ESPN Publicist:

The tweet did not represent ESPN. While we understand our employees are some of the most passionate sports fans, the nature of the comment was inappropriate and we are addressing it with her.

I’m sure next time Rose will think twice before she tweets anything else regarding FSU.
