Chicago Bears WR Alshon Jeffery is one of the best young WR in the NFL. Ever since his days at South Carolina, many people believed that Jeffery was going to be a good one.
With Jeffery at one receiver and Brandon Marshall at the other, you could easily make the case that they are the best WR duo in the NFL. Even though many would think that would be too high of praise for those two, Jeffery has no problem stating that he and Marshall are the top 2 WRs in the NFL.
“I’m not the type of person that brags a lot about anything, but I feel that last year, what we did, we were at the top of the list as the two best receivers,” Jeffery said. “But that was last year. This year we have to set our goal and try our best to do the same thing we did last year, if not better.”
“We motivate each other,” Jeffery said. “We compete against each other and we’ve got the same goals. We both want to win the Super Bowl and we want greatness. We want to catch every ball.”
Now don’t get me wrong, I think both guys are very good but in my opinion they are not better than Calvin Johnson. I wonder what some of the other WR’s in the league think about Jeffery’s comments.
