With the Miami Heat and their fans focused on a 3-peat, some people are focused on Dwyane Wade’s health. The reason some people are concerned with Wade’s health is because of the impact it could have on LeBron James.
As we all know, LeBron can opt out of his contract this summer and become a free agent. With Wade and Bosh both getting older, most think LeBron would be wise to look around to see who gives him the best chance to win a championship. Regardless of the decision LeBron makes, Wade says that the blame should not be on him if LeBron decides to leave.
“Just don’t solely put it on me,” Wade said, laughing. “That’s what I’m saying. Don’t put the X on me. … There’s a lot that goes into, so just don’t say, ‘If Dwyane Wade doesn’t have the year that we’re accustomed to, it’s over.'”
I agree that LeBron’s decision won’t just be because of Wade’s health, but he has to take that into consideration. I think it going to come down to Miami Heat president Pat Riley telling LeBron he will do what it takes to keep the Heat at a championship level.
