Well it seems not everyone in the St. Louis Rams locker room is thrilled about Michael Sam having a reality show. It was announced Wednesday that Sam would have his own reality show on the Oprah Winfrey Network. There has been a mixed reaction from social media about this situation to the point that it has hit the Rams locker room. An unnamed player for the Rams spoke to Josina Anderson of ESPN and says that he is a little concerned about Sam’s reality show.
“It’s an interesting case that he gets to work with Oprah and have his own show, but I think it does raise eyebrows and it may be somewhat of a distraction,” the player told ESPN’s Josina Anderson. “But this is our first time dealing with something like this, so we’ll have to wait and see how it plays out and how people react.”
The unnamed player also says that he isn’t sure that all his teammates have embraced Sam being on the team yet.
“Clearly I’m not sure how everyone feels, but from what I can tell so far I think it’s a little bit of both, honestly,” he said.
I’m not surprised about people having second thoughts about Sam’s reality show. He was the one who told us that all he wants to do is play football but, it seems like things are changing on his front.
