Thiago Silva was arrested on multiple charges early this morning in Oakland, Florida. Silva shows up in an arrest record search on the Broward County Sheriff’s website where his charges are listed as two counts of attempted felony murder, one count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and one count of resisting officer without violence to his or her person.
According to multiple reports, an armed Silva showed up at a jiu-jitsu school owned Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor Pablo Popovitch and began threatening people at the school.
Once police were called, Silva fled to his home and barricaded himself in. The SWAT team was called to eventually take Silva in custody.
As for what started all of this, Fox Sports is reporting that the altercation stemmed from a domestic dispute between Silva and his wife.
