Back in October, NFL owners flexed their muscles and passed a rule that would essentially force teams to appear on Hard Knocks even if they don’t want to.
According to the rule, all teams are eligible with exception of teams with new head coaches, teams that have been to the playoffs in at least one of the two past seasons, and teams that have appeared on the show in the past 10 seasons.
Taking those rules in account, NFL.com has assembled eight teams that can be considered the finalists to appear on the show next season.
Here are the finalists:
New York Giants
St. Louis Rams
Nationally, most would probably lean towards the Steelers or Giants. But if we’re looking for the team that has the best chance of being a complete train-wreck on the show, it would have to be the Raiders.
