Josh Freeman signs with the Minnesota Vikings

NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New England PatriotsFormer Buccaneers quarterback reportedly had interest from 10 NFL teams, including the Oakland Raiders and the Buffalo Bills. But in the end, Freeman chose to sign with the Minnesota Vikings.

Freeman now enters a quarterback situation where he can easily win the starting job. Starter Christian Ponder is currently out with a rib injury and hasn’t been impressive at all this season. Matt Cassel was last week’s starter and though he led the Vikings to a win, head coach Leslie Frazier apparently isn’t satisfied with what he has a quarterback.

Here’s Frazier’s quote about the signing:

“We are always looking to add good players to our roster, and I think we have done that with Josh.”

Get your keft (throwing) shoulder an MRI– a torn rotator cuff can make your passes flutter and be way off target.

I speak for experience w/ torn rotator.
