At the end of the Lakers’ 96-92 loss to the Hawks, Kobe Bryant attempted a jump shot from the corner that would have tied the game at 94. Upon landing, Bryant came down on Hawks guard Dahntay Jones and severely sprained his left ankle.
After the game, the Lakers announced that Bryant would be out indefinitely. And later, both Bryant and Jones took to Twitter to give their take on the injury.
#dangerousplay that should have been called. Period.

Tape doesn’t lie. Ankle was turned on the floor after the leg kick out that knocked him off balance. I would never try to hurt the man

Now the question becomes, will Bryant play through the injury? Because remember, he asked Dwight Howard to do just that.
