Details are emerging from the arrest of four Alabama players on Monday. According to the arrest warrant obtained by TideSports.com, D.J. Pettway, Eddie Williams and Tyler Hayes “punched a student’s head and face and kicked him in the ribs and back area” during one of the robberies. The victim sustained cuts to his face, severe swelling, and a mild concussion. The players then stole the victims backpack which had an Apple computer inside it.
In a second robbery, Eddie Williams “punched a student’s head and face while Pettway and Hayes stood by and watched.” After which the players stole the student’s wallet and used the student’s ID to buy snacks in a vending machine in his dorm.
Brent Calloway was not present for the robberies, but he admitted that he also bought snacks with the student’s ID card.
