Here’s some unfortunate news to end your day. ESPN has decided to start a trial run of their debate show First Take on Saturdays starting on December 8. And that’s according to a Facebook posting by Parker that Awful Announcing unearthed.

But the real story here is that it seems that Parker may have jumped the gun with his “good news”.
Case in point, Parker also took the news to Twitter, but quickly deleted the tweet from his feed. But by then, it was too late and the news had been spread.
“@robparkerespn: Starting Dec 8th,a trial run of First Take on Saturday morningNo Skip or Stephen A, I will be there.” Terrible idea

And in typical Rob Parker fashion, he neglected to delete his follow up tweet:
We will debate fresh topics as normal with a host of other debaters you usually see. It’s just an expansion of the show you already luv.

So it seems that debating the same topics over and over again will now stretch into your weekend.
Aren’t you glad?
