Back in March, former Michigan star and current Seahawks receiver Braylon Edwards vented on Twitter that his Michigan was not recruiting his little brother Berkley Edwards. At the time, the younger Edwards was an unrated prospect, but the older Edwards vowed that you would hear more about his younger sibling.
Fast forward eight months and Berkley Edwards is now rated a 3 star recruit, but he still isn’t being recruited by Michigan. Meanwhile, his offer list includes the likes of Minnesota, Kent St, Buffalo, and Ball State so it isn’t like the top schools are knocking down his door. So Edwards does what most kids do and takes his best offer and verbally commits to Minnesota. The move prompts Braylon to take to Twitter to congratulate him only his verbal commitment, but it also gives him yet another chance to express his disappointment that Michigan never gave Berkley a shot.
Congrats toy little brother @_youngsuperstar verbally committing to the University of Minnesota. A very athletically and academically

Respected university. I still don’t understand how my father and I were all-Americans at Michigan but they don’t give Berk a shot.

Oh well Minnesota just got one hell of a talent and hard worker, don’t be surprised if he tears the maze and blue a new a$$hole soon.

Predictably, the backlash comes and Edwards is forced to walk back his comments a bit.
Don’t take my tweets the wrong way Michigan fans and alums I’m still a proud supporter and love Michigan. Just saying my brother is a beast

Some people on twitter are idiots. You sit and wait by you smart phone or laptop or iPad just to twist peoples twitter post.
