As we move closer and closer to the Week 7, the week we expect Mark Sanchez to lose his job to Tim Tebow, the questions around Tebow’s role in the Jets’ offense continue to mount.
Some believe that the Jets should start Tebow right this moment and of course Boomer Esiason probably still wants him cut. But other than rumblings that Woody Johnson may put pressure on the coaching staff to start Tebow, we really had no idea where Tebow stood in the Jets’ offense.
That all changed when NY Daily News reporter Manish Mehta reported that the Jets have been preparing Tebow to have a larger role against the Texans on Monday night. Mainly because they see Tebow as “probably their best playmaker now.”
Jets prepared all week to give Tim Tebow a larger role/more reps vs Texans tonight. They realize he’s probably their best playmaker now #nyj

Yep, this is probably the beginning of the end for Mark Sanchez. He probably won’t even make it to Week 7.
