University of Miami fans came dressed as stadium seats for their game against Bethune Cookman

Yes, it was a noon kickoff. And yes, it was a game against Bethune Cookman. But you’d still expect to see more than 100 fans show up for kickoff.

But alas, this is the state of Miami football these days: NCAA sanctions looming, fans aren’t showing up to games, and former players are calling for players on Miami’s defense to “Pull a knife on em, and stick ‘em.”

Things seemingly got better as the game went on as the crowd was announced at 39,435. Nevermind the fact that Sun Life Stadium seats 75,540. And we’ll just go out on a limb and say that there is no way that 39,000 people attended the game. But don’t take our word for it; just take a look for yourself.

Just another indication of the fall of the university formally known as “The U”.
