UCLA is 3-0 and have looked much improved under new head coach Jim Mora Jr. But no matter how much early season success a school in Los Angeles is having, it will be an uphill battle to get folks to come out to games.
Case in point: Preseason No. 1 ranked USC had to turn to Living Social to help sell out their home opener a few weeks ago. So long story short, you have to find creative ways to sell tickets to college football games in LA. And that’s what UCLA is doing for today’s game against Oregon State at the Rose Bowl.
According to Bruins Nation, the school sent this email to all of its “Bruin Advantage Ticket Subscribers” offering them discounted tickets if they wear their bathing suit to today’s game:

Wear a swimsuit to the game and receive 50% off general admission tickets. That’s just $9.50 for adults and $2.50 for youth 12 and under. So grab your hat, cover-up and sunscreen and join us for a great game this weekend!
