Twitter is a lot of things to a lot of people. It’s a time-waster for some and a platform to get ideas out for others. As for Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger, Twitter is a way to find someone willing to do things for him that he doesn’t want to do for himself.
For example, Granger wanted to get his hands on the new iPhone 5 on Friday, but he didn’t want to wait in a long line to do so. So he turned to his 165,000+ followers looking for anyone willing to stand in line to purchase his phone, with the promise that he would pay for he and the person’s phone afterwards.
Anyone wanna go get me an iphone at the Keystone Mall? I’ll buy yours and mine if you wait in line

Is anyone at the KEYSTONE MALL at the APPLE STORE!!!
— Danny Granger (@dgranger33) September 21, 2012
Shortly after, Granger finds a follower who is 3rd in line at the mall.
“@bryce_theintern @dgranger33 I’m 3rd in line bro” -are you really third in line!?!
— Danny Granger (@dgranger33) September 21, 2012
And the next thing you know, Granger was showing off his new iPhone 5.

Moral of the story? Twitter can be used to beg people to do things for you. Especially if you’re a professional athlete.
H/T Game On!

What an idiot you are. Since when is paying someone “begging?” It looks like YOU are the lazy one…not being able to find anything important to write about.
You should change your handle to NoNuts_NoGlory. What an idiot you are. Seems like Danny Granger made a good business move. After all, time is money. You have plenty of the former, probably not enough of the latter.
The author is a idiot. If I was the guy in the line I would have done the same thing. Getting a free iphone is always a good deal. Especially if I was waiting in line anyway.
This is fake since the guy says he was kidding https://twitter.com/Bryce_theIntern/status/249156480480194560
