According ESPN’s Brett McMurphy, Notre Dame will become a full member of the ACC with the exception of football. Which to most us means that they really won’t be a full member.
But to give the impression of full membership, McMurphy reports that the Irish will play five games against ACC teams annually. Full members of the ACC currently play eight conference games.
Notre Dame will reportedly leave join the ACC “as soon as it can exit the Big East”. Which could be as long as 27 months.
