A scary turn of events took place during Monday night’s taping of WWE’s Monday Night Raw. Announcer Jerry Lawler collapsed ringside and had to be carried backstage at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada.
EMT’s quickly worked to revive Lawler who according to this tweet by Smith Hart, the older brother of Brett and Owen Hart, was clinically dead for 20 minutes.

WWE released this official statement regarding Lawler’s collapse.
Jerry “The King” Lawler suffered a heart attack while commentating during last night’s broadcast of Monday Night Raw in Montreal. We are hopeful Jerry makes a full recovery and returns to WWE in the near future. Our thoughts are with Jerry and his family.
Lawler’s girlfriend Lauryn Laine McBride posted on her Facebook page that Lawler indeed suffered a heart attack and was stable and breathing on his own.
