After Sunday’s 8-0 loss to the Marlins, the Washington Nationals boarded the train for a trip to New York to take on the Mets.
While the Nationals’ veterans were able to board the train wearing whatever they would normally wear, Nationals’ rookies could not. Instead, they were forced to wear U.S. gymnastics leotards for the train ride from D.C. to New York.
The photos popped up on Nationals pitcher Gio Gonzalez’s Twitter account Sunday and depending on how you feel about grown men in leotards you were either excited to see them or highly upset after seeing them.
At any rate, it seems that Nationals rookies really enjoyed their time in leotards.
