NBA approves deal that will send Dwight Howard to the Lakers

With David Stern vetoing trades these days, we decided that we would wait until things were official. Granted, this situation is unlike the Chris Paul situation, but we just wanted to hear officially that it was done. And since Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports has reported that the league has approved the deal, we can now dig into the details.

Here’s what each team is getting:

Lakers: Dwight Howard, Chris Duhon and Earl Clark from the Magic

Magic: Arron Afflalo, Al Harrington, Josh McRoberts, Christian Eyenga and Nikola Vucevic, Moe Harkless, three protected first round picks and two second-round picks.

76ers: Andrew Bynum and Jason Richardson

Nuggets: Andre Iguodala

Off the cuff reaction is that the 76ers, and of course the Lakers won here. But we’ll think on it and have more later.
