Mark Grace arrested on DUI charges, takes leave from Diamondbacks

Former MLB player and current Arizona Diamondbacks television analyst Mark Grace was arrested Thursday night on DUI charges. On Friday, the Diamondbacks announced that Grace had “requested an indefinite leave of absence to seek personal assistance.”

According to Scottsdale police, Grace was pulled over near 7200 E. McCormick Parkway for having an expired registration plate. Once they began speaking with Grace it was determined that there was probable cause to arrest Grace for DUI.

Grace was driving with a suspended license and with an interlock device that he was required to have after being arrested on a prior DUI charge 15 months ago.
