Yawn. You know the drill here: Take it all with a grain of salt.

The latest revival of the long awaited Dwight Howard trade comes from Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports. According to Wojnarowsk, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Orlando Magic have had discussions, that have “grown serious over the week”, that would send Howard to the Lakers in a four-team deal that also would involve the Nuggets and the 76ers.

Here’s the proposed framework of the deal.

There are multiple moving parts in the fluid talks, but the framework of a possible deal includes Howard and Denver forward Al Harrington going to the Lakers, Philadelphia guard Andre Iguodala going to the Nuggets, Los Angeles center Andrew Bynum moving to the 76ers, and Los Angeles forward Pau Gasol and Denver guard Arron Affalo going to the Magic, sources told Yahoo! Sports.

The proposed deal includes the Magic also gaining draft picks and salary-cap relief, sources said.

An interesting name in all of this is Pau Gasol. If this report is true, the Magic have seemingly moved away from wanting Andrew Bynum because of his unwillingness to re-sign in Orlando. Which is definitely a smart move. They also believe that Gasol would be easier to move than Bynum down the road if it comes to that.
