Tim Tebow wants you to believe that he’s surprised reporters filmed him as he ran past them shirtless in the rain

If you missed it over the weekend, Tim Tebow set off an internet firestorm when he ran shirtless in the rain after Saturday’s practice.

No matter what Tim Tebow wants you to believe, it’s quite obvious he knew what he was doing. For one, practice is over. He doesn’t HAVE TO run. He just WANT to. Which is fine. But c’mon man, it’s raining. Go on inside like the rest of your teammates.

But that’s not the issue here. If Tebow wants to Baywatch jog after every practice, he’s a grown man. He can do that. The real issue here is that Tebow is trying to convince us that when he began jogging towards reporters shirtless, in the rain that he didn’t believe that any of them would film it.

“I mean, I can’t tell you how many times probably in Florida or Denver after practice I would do sprints back and forth with that and jog off the field and never think about it again,” Tebow said today. “And it would never get reported and now it does.”

“Didn’t really think y’all would would be filming it and taking pictures,” he said.

Really Tim? Really?

  1. Well, it is NY which is way higher profile

  2. Whatever dude says:

This is a classless article. but then again i would exxpect that from people in NY.

  3. coolnewyorker says:

What surprised me more was only one pic was taken…and not a good one. What? You guys used a cell
    phone cam?

If the press people think TT was looking for publicity, think again. Why for? Not that he needs more.

Why insinuate some pejorative context on an athlete running shirtless in the rain? What’s wrong with you?

  4. Yes, really. What, I’m supposed to believe a reporter starved for news versus Tim Tebow?

  5. Seriously, you atheist reporters make me wanna laugh. Are you guys seriously trying to make an issues about some openly Christian guy running in the rain without a shirt on?? Well, OMG, I saw an Amish guy working on top of a newly constructed house without a shirt on!! What are we gonna do, now??

  6. I just read that article again and it sounds like it is written in ebonics. “He just want to.”

Yo Yo Yo. Please, can I get away from the blackification of America.

    • Ebonics for sure…..resentment galore…..He is great looking decent man and I want to see chest shots of the blogger. Does the blogger have man mammies or six packs and pecs???

      • OF course not…. He’s probably overweight, and out of shape. There’s the caveat. He can’t stand Tim because he looks good and makes a lot of money. But this journalist (and his editor) cant put a simple sentence together correctly. HA..

  7. Are you kidding? It gives them something to write about now doesn’t it. I’ll tell you something, if Tim Tebow ran down the street with or with out a shirt on you can bet there will be a lot of people drooling and moaning!!

  8. maybe it’s because of that trademark thing? just guessin’

  9. If that “Man” wants to run the rain, fire, snow whatever let him. The last time I checked he could do whatever he wants to without answering to the likes of reporters (and I use that term ever so loosely) like this. This is not news and not worth the paper it was written on. Get over the jealously and leave Tim Tebow alone. SMH….

    • If you don’t like the guy……then ignore him and don’t take a pic or write a story/comment……however something compelled you to take a pic and make a comment. He’s a third string quarterback on the jets yet you still had to take the pic and comment….deep down you like him and he is newsworthy..god bless him

  10. Evans…..get a life and a real job! How lame is this story!
