Penn State employees receiving threatening emails, phones call over the Joe Paterno statue

Sounds like the fallout from the Penn State sanctions is slowly beginning to take a turn for the worse. Earlier, we were introduced to Penn State fan Tom Price who likened the sanctions to 9/11. Now we get word that Penn State employees have been getting threatening emails and calls over everything that has happened to the university in the past week. Namely, the removal of the Joe Paterno statue.

Penn State police said employees again are receiving harassing messages about recent events, including the removal of the Joe Paterno statue from outside Beaver Stadium.

Chief Tyrone Parham said this morning that most of the calls or emails are non-threatening, but a few have been forwarded to police when recipients believe they are on the threatening side.

It’s certainly a shame that people would threaten someone that has nothing to do with anything that has happened at Penn State. These folks are merely just doing their job.

But we’re quite sure that the people that don’t have anything better to do than harass people are not a representation of Penn State fans as a whole.

It’s amazing what people that have their priorities so out of whack will do. The guy enabled a pedophile for over 10 years to protect his job and protect his football program and also covered it up. Now you got his clones threatening the school with violence. Classy. It goes to prove there is enough selfabsorbed

Oops I hit send before I was done

It shows that there is a reason why the NCAA did what it did. There is enough self-absorbed people that still back this DB that nothing would have changed if tough sanctions were not brought. The mob would still run the place. STFU clones of Joe and back a real human coach in Bill O’Brien. He is a guy you can root and be proud to follow
