Details are murky at the moment, but it seems that Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant was arrested on a family violence charge on Monday.

According to CBSDFW.com, Bryant was arrested on a Class A misdemeanor and was released on $2,000 bond.

UPDATE: According to Mike Doocy of Fox 4 News in Dallas, Bryant was arrested for domestic violence.

UPDATE: Bryant’s arrest reportedly stems from an argument with his half brother where he ended up pushing his mother.

A source said late Monday night that Bryant, in an argument with his half brother, wound up pushing his mother, Angela. According to the source, police responded to a call on Saturday night, but no arrests were made at that point. Further examination of the reports resulted in Monday’s arrest, the source said.

More details to come.
