The Miami Marlins were thoroughly whipped in Boston by the Red Sox to the tune of 15-5. After such a sound beating, reporters are foaming at the mouth for a quality sound bite. And since Ozzie Guillen seems to be getting back to his old self after being suspended for his Fidel Castro comments, he wasted no time giving reporters what they wanted.
When asked to sum up the Marlins’ 15-5 loss to the Red Sox, Guillen responds with this:
“Easy,” he replied with a chuckle. “Seven Presidentes (beer) and a sleeping pill and be ready for the job tomorrow.”
Welcome back, Ozzie. We’ve missed you.
