You may now have to endure Steven A. Smith along with Skip Bayless on ESPN’s First Take

We don’t watch First Take. Mainly because we actually do stuff between the hours of 8am-5pm. But even if we didn’t do anything during those hours, we still wouldn’t watch.

Even still, we want to give you a heads up on what you will have to endure going forward whenever you watch the circus that is ESPN’s First Take.

According to USA Today, Steven A. Smith is about to be added to the show permanently to debate Skip Bayless. So that means more unnecessary socioeconomic and racial debates.

Oh joy.

Get your earplugs ready America. Those noisy Stephen A. Smith vs. Skip Bayless TV debates are about to become a permanent fixture on ESPN2’s First Take weekday morning show (10 a.m. ET).

Host Jay Crawford prematurely let the cat out of the bag that Smith will become Bayless’ permanent sparring partner on Monday’s show. Both looked well-pleased.

Even though the network’s own on-air talent talked about it Monday, ESPN’s still acting like it’s a state secret, probably because the deal isn’t signed yet and it hasn’t been announced. “It’s not finalized,” says spokesman Josh Krulewitz.

For those of you that will brave this circus, you are much stronger individuals than we ever will be.
