Former West Virginia coach Bill Stewart has died of a heart attack

Former West Virginia head coach Bill Stewart suffered a heart attack that took his life earlier today on a golf course in Weston, West Virginia. He was rushed to Stonewall Jackson Memorial hospital where doctors were unsuccessful with life saving procedures.

Stewart was playing in a tournament at the Stonewall Resort with West Virginia athletic director Eddie Pastilong when he collapsed.

Stewart was set to turn 60 next month.
