Chris Christie says ‘good riddance’ to New Jersey Nets

The New Jersey Nets played their final home game tonight in New Jersey before moving to Brooklyn next season. And while some are mourning the fact that there won’t be basketball in New Jersey for the first time in 35 years, Governor Chris Christie is not.

While speaking at a bill signing earlier today in Newark, Christie pulled no punches about how he felt regarding the Nets moving to Brooklyn. And in short, Christie had two messages for the Nets: “Goodbye and good riddance”.
