Dale Ellis Proudly Proclaims That He Is The Best Shooter Of All Time

[text-box]Yes, Dale Ellis actually said these words, amongst other things, during an interview with The Boston Globe:

“I’m the best shooter of all time,’’ he said. “I know that from the jump. I set the standard. I gave them something to shoot for. I was the first player in the history of the game to get 1,000 3-pointers. To be able to play on that level, you have to have that attitude about yourself. You can say it’s arrogant or cocky or whatever, but that’s OK. There’s no way you can compete without it. There’s no way you can excel without that confidence level.’’

Great comment Dale, it’s so nice you think so highly of yourself. The only thing is, here in Boston, we have the greatest shooter of all time on the Boston Celtics. Perhaps you have heard of him? RAY ALLEN??????

  2. AnonymousNupe says:

What, S. Evans, no statistical comparisons between Dale, Larry, Ray, Reggie, and Steve (Kerr) for us to mull over? This story needs a table!

  3. EugeneHusky says:

Hey Rosalie, check out the Boston Globe article. He gave mad props to Ray Allen. Ray gives him credit too. Every shooter must shoot with confidence and think they are the greatest.

For me, these 2 guys are my 2 favorite players of all time so I don’t argue with either proclaimation!
