On his 25th birthday the top seeded Rafael Nadal earned a trip back to the French Open Final.

Earlier today, Nadal  defeated Andy Murray in straight sets to reach his sixth final in the last seven years at Roland Garros.

Playing in the first of two semifinals, Nadal sits in the winner’s circle alone for moment; he’s awaiting the winner of the Federer v. Djokovicmatch. Djokovic is currently undefeated this season, 41 consecutive matches, and if he makes it to the final will become replace Nadal as the world’s #1 tennis player.

With a win in this year’s final Nadal will have captured his sixth French Open title which would be his tenth Grand Slam title overall.
