$12,500 Doesn’t Go As Far As It Use To

Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat are heading to the Eastern Conference Finals after defeating the Boston Celtics in five games. Big things are expected of the Heat this year and this summer D-Wade expects big money from his fans.

The 29-year-old superstar, is hosting a fantasy camp for fans 35 years old and up on Aug. 18-21. The registration fee, a whopping $12,500.

Wade makes about $14.2M/yr which averages to about $173K a game over a 82 game season. Though he’s from a meager background, the riches appeared to have altered his view of economic reality.

Aside from some Jordan apparel, not shoes,  and posh accommodations at the Fountainebleau Hotel at Miami Beach, the campers will receive a autographed poster with Dwyane Wade and Mike Brown, the special guest.
