Man Who Is A Fan Of Wearing Red Sox Pajamas Is Also A Fan Of Robbing Convenience Stores

The Boston Red Sox may be struggling at 0-4 on the diamond, but in the world of crime, they are leading the league. Last week, it was a man wearing a Red Sox hat robbing banks, this week it’s a man wearing Red Sox pajamas robbing a convenience store.

Yes, you read that right.

Police said a man armed with a knife and wearing Red Sox pajamas robbed a Braintree, Mass., convenience store Monday night, reported Wednesday.

The clerk at Luke’s Convenience Store told police that shortly after 8:30 pm ET, a white man wearing a black mask and gloves, a green hooded sweatshirt pulled up over his head and blue pajama bottoms with Red Sox logos on them, entered the store and demanded money, the Patriot Ledger said.

The suspect reportedly pointed a knife at the store clerk and then reached over the counter and grabbed a sum of money from the cash register.

I don’t know which one is more ridiculous. The fact that a grown man owns a pair of Red Sox pajama pants or that the same grown man robbed a store with a knife. Someone needs to tell him that this isn’t 1980 anymore. The weapon of choice is no longer knives.
