The San Antonio Spurs Obviously Have Nothing To Do With Their Free Time So They Decided To Attend A Lady Gaga Concert

Lady Gaga

Lo and behold, this is the second mention of Lady Gaga here at No Guts. And I now feel less of a man.

But you’re not here to hear about all that. You’re here to hear about the grand ‘ol time that a few San Antonio Spurs players had at the Lady Gaga concert on Tuesday. And boy was it a grand ‘ol time. So grand of a time that one player may or may not have had suffered a little laryngitis the following day because he was screaming like a school girl at the concert.

Yep, we like to keep you informed here.

Several Spurs, including Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili, took in Tuesday’s concert at the AT&T Center by pop star Lady Gaga.

Parker and Ginobili tweeted about the show.

“It was great,” Parker said. “She’s a great performer. Yeah, I like her stuff.”
Parker could not verify if Ginobili, who was suffering some laryngitis on Wednesday, was suffering because he had cheered too loudly at the concert.

“I don’t know if he was screaming,” Parker said, “but he was moving his head. Half of the team (was there). It was good.”

Only half the team? Who could possibly not be a Lady Gaga fan?

One Spur who did not take in the show: McDyess, at 36 the team’s oldest player.

“No, not me,” he said. “I don’t even know one of her songs.”

Good man.
