While you’re building a repore with your coworkers through the joy of gambling your hard earned money on your NCAA tournament bracket this month, the poor saps at ESPN are stuck working and getting things done. Because up in Bristol, the art of office pooling is outlawed.
And it’s because a few ESPN crew members who weren’t skilled in the art of office pooling left their brackets lying around at a tournament site (Rule #1 in office pools: Never leave your brackets lying around). Of course, an official from one of the universities at that site saw them and got their panties in a bunch. So now, office pooling is dead to ESPN.
