If there are two things that we can count on from Milton Bradley, it’s getting himself in trouble and getting himself ejected from games. And since the newest trend among MLB teams is to take spring training games seriously, Bradley decided to use yesterday’s spring training game against the Brewers as his attempt to take a spring training game seriously. Or most likely, he just wanted to argue with the umpire.
Milton Bradley got ejected early, and Jeremy Reed singled in the go-ahead run in the ninth to help the Milwaukee Brewers beat the Mariners 5-4 Wednesday night.
“He said one too many things, so that was a short night for him,” Mariners manager Eric Wedge said.
Bradley was tossed by plate umpire Mark Buchanan in the bottom of the third inning after barking about a called third strike.
