William Kelly, a New York Supreme Court Justice, has set a pre-trial start date of December 23 for the Hall of Fame linebacker.
Taylor was offered a plea deal by Rockland County’s DA ,Thomas Zugibe, which would require Taylor to serve 6-months in jail, be on probation for 10 years and register as a sex-offender.
Taylor hasn’t accepted nor denied the plea deal, but according to his lawyer, Arthur Aidala, all signs point to a trial.
Taylor is accused of paying a 16-year-old girl to have sex with him in his hotel room on May 6 at a Holiday Inn in Montebello, N.Y.
