What We Learned: College Football’s Week 7

Something isn’t right in Gainesville.

After losing to Mississippi State and losing three straight games, the Gators have some soul searching to do. But the one person who will be searching for another job after this season is offensive coordinator Steve Addazio. Gators fans were already riding him and now some refuse to watch their games until he is gone. Urban Meyer looked like he didn’t have a clue about what was going on either. It’s crazy that a team that won a National Title just two years ago is this bad.

Ohio State dropped the ball.

Did you expect anything less????? Once again, Ohio State proves that when they have the spotlight on them, they will choke. Terrelle Pryor proved that he is all hype as he couldn’t deliver in primetime against a team that has less talent.

Cam Newton is a one man wrecking crew.

Newton accounted for four touchdowns and 328 yards in the victory against Arkansas and has put himself atop of the Heisman race. To me, Newton is a faster version of Tim Tebow with the way he runs people over and the arm he has. I’m looking forward to see what he does against a very good LSU defense Saturday.

Steve Spurrier costs his team another game.

First Auburn and now Kentucky; this guy is too smart for his own good. After blowing an 18 point lead and then rallying back to be down by three, you would think you should kick a field goal with nine seconds right????? Not old Spurrier, who decided to throw one to the endzone and Kentucky intercepts it. I heard that Spurrier is catching hell for that call and it’s well deserved.
